What does CRA?
The Credit and Risk Analysis department controls the credit risk within RNHB. On the one hand by assessing applications at file level and providing advice or approving annual revisions and interim changes during the term of loans. On the other hand, through periodic quality assessment, portfolio monitoring and reporting in order to initiate the right actions or to arrive at recommendations and proposals for improvement.

What are you going to do?
You assess applications, revisions and changes of large complex loans and interests (Mid Market) and partly also of smaller and less complex loans and interests (SMB market). You test the quality of the semi-automatic SMB process, report findings and advise management on improvements. By means of portfolio monitoring you assess which actions are required, such as a credit and / or CDD revision. The analysts also actively contribute to RNHB's ambitions and because of their expertise they are involved in (improvement) projects, writing and implementing policy, research projects and acquisitions.

What do we ask for?
As an analyst you are able to assess a proposal for feasibility and optimize a financing structure in order to sufficiently mitigate the credit risks. You are accurate and consistent and you know the policy and relevant laws and regulations. More complex organizations, security structures, annual figures and covenants are known to you. In your analysis you quickly get to the core and identify relevant risks. Your judgment is clear, so that your advice is understandable. You are decisive with more complex deals and you are also able to quickly adjust your advice accordingly.

RNHB is constantly growing and change is constant. The work entails that, despite busy times, agreed lead times must be met. We expect you to remain effective when tasks, responsibilities and organization change and also when time pressure increases. Above all else, you remain independent despite pressure or criticism from others.

In this dynamic position you work together with various specialists to arrive at a balanced risk assessment and you are a point of contact for various stakeholders. This way you are in contact with legal and real estate specialists and you are a sparring partner for commerce. We expect you to be able to express your opinion correctly in both English and Dutch, orally but also in writing, and to convey your message in a structured and logical manner to those involved. You can communicate effectively on multiple levels. You are strong and secure within yourself and enjoy discussing content, while also having an eye for the relationship. In addition, you like to work in a team, show initiative and make an effective contribution, also supporting when necessary to achieve the goal.

The continuous growth and change of RNHB also has a significant impact on the Credit and Risk Analysis department. This requires entrepreneurship from all team members. We expect from you an active attitude and natural drive to come up with new ideas and concrete proposals to improve the working method, process and / or systems for RNHB and the customer.

And further:

  • You have at least an HBO diploma;
  • You have 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in lending;
  • Demonstrable experience with commercial real estate;
  • You are eager to learn and pragmatic; you recognize a problem quickly and solve it;
  • And you enjoy working in a dynamic organization where no two days are the same;
